Phil Short – UK Training Director

IANTD strives to maintain the very highest level of quality in everything, ensuring the best and safest training experience in the industry. The man responsible for ensuring these standards are met is Phil Short – Training Director for IANTD UK.

An Instructor Trainer Trainer with over 15 years of experience, Phil was introduced to the world of technical diving by pioneering technical diver Kevin Gurr. Phil has gained an enviable reputation teaching IANTD programs throughout the world and through his participation in many cave and wreck expeditions. Phil was personally trained and evaluated as a Cave Instructor by IANTD Chairman, Tom Mount.

Whether taking first tentative steps or an experienced diver wishing to push beyond the limits of recreational diving, IANTD offers a complete range of diver training programs from entry-level Open Water Diver through to Trimix CCR and Cave, taught by a team of instructor trainers and instructors who represent the very best technical divers in the UK and the world.
